About Us

Break The Mould was created by Corinne Hidar for the dancers of the Tampa Bay area. Her goal was to create a company for the dancers that, like her, never exactly fit the dancer “mould”. She wanted to create a space where individuals of all backgrounds, sizes, shapes and colors could celebrate their uniqueness through dance.

To the outcasts, dreamers and creative doers — this ones for you.

Corinne was born and raised in NJ and came to Tampa in 2015 to earn her BA in Dance at The University of Tampa. Since graduating she has performed commercially and with various companies in the Tampa area.

In addition to her performance career, Corinne has been the Director of Dance at Cypress Creek Middle School since 2019 and has led various professional development trainings in dance education.

Corinne is continuing her education at Reinhardt University to earn her MFA in Choreography.
